How Appenvision decides what to publish, how we test what we describe, what we refuse to claim without evidence, and how to get a mistake corrected.
How we choose what to write about
Topics come from the jobs our apps are actually used for and from the questions support receives — not from a keyword list. A guide is worth writing when we can answer the question from first-hand use of the product and of the iPhone features around it.
We do not publish a page for every phrasing of the same question. One task gets one page; a different answer, not a different wording, is what justifies a new one.
How we test
Everything described in a guide is checked against the shipping iOS build of the app and against the current version of iOS on an iPhone. Screenshots are our own or the app's official App Store frames, and each one carries a visible caption saying what it shows.
Where a step uses a feature built into iOS — the Notes scanner, Live Text, the router's own device list — we describe that route first and link Apple's documentation for it. If the job can be done without our app, the guide says so.
What we will not claim
If we cannot verify a number, a protocol, an accuracy figure or a behaviour, it does not appear. Marketing synonyms are not a way around that rule. Several product pages on this site are deliberately narrower than the App Store listing for exactly this reason.
We make no medical, legal or financial claims, and we say plainly where a tool should not be relied on — identifying anything edible, for example, or treating a sleep problem.
Disclosure
Appenvision publishes the app named in this guide. Where a step can be done with the tools already on your iPhone, that route is described first. We do not accept payment for a mention, and we do not publish comparisons with other products unless we have tested them and can show the method.
Corrections
Every guide carries the date it was last checked. When iOS or an app changes enough to alter a step, we re-test and update the article, and the date moves only when the page genuinely changed.
If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will fix it — corrections that change the substance of a guide are noted on the page.
